Set Up Live Data Exchange

Our IT experts help you connect securely to HYDROGRID Insight to transmit live telemetry and receive optimized production plans. You can fully automate the process using our Rest API or manually exchange live data via Excel Integration in HYDROGRID Insight. Our flexible Rest API enables an easy integration with all your internal and third-party systems. You provide the plant’s static data, comprising the actual plant topology as a sketch, the static technical data of each plant component and such and operational or environmental restrictions.
For data exchange, we provide a secure data room with sketching tools and plant-specific Excel sheets for static data collection.

Model Power Plant in HYDROGRID Insight
We review the static data, advises on any missing data and you confirm the final data set.
We model your power plant in HYDROGRID Insight, configure concessions and restrictions for water management and power plant operation and set up your main HYDROGRID Insight account.

Set Up Real-Time Data Exchange
You setup the data connection to the model of your power plant in HYDROGRID Insight to:
Continuously transmit live values of all plant components (turbines, reservoirs, gates).
Receive the optimized results, like inflow forecasts, turbine schedules, and water values (depending on your subscription).
We support you with IT training workshops and dedicated developer resources, as well as with identifying an IT integration partner for RestAPI implementation if needed.

You provide historical sensor data for all modeled plant components, spanning the last three years. If data is missing, we advise on possible solutions.

We thoroughly review and correlate all live, historical, and static data to identify artifacts early.
We import the static and historical data into HYDROGRID Insight and calibrate the model of your power plant by:

Carefully reviewing all results and real-time processes.

We provide automated data exchange with your market access agent for power market nominations (depending on your subscription).

Go-Live of Power Plant in HYDROGRID Insight
We organize a customized go-live workshop with your team and key stakeholders comprising an executive summary of your plant’s model In HYDROGRID Insight (plant topology, model configuration, restrictions, data interfaces, and trained machine-learning models).
We provide a dedicated control room training with hand-on live examples and Q&A.
Support

Transitioning to Customer Service

Once implementation is complete and your project is live, we’ll transfer your power plant project to our dedicated Customer Service Team.

Product Onboarding & Adaption
A dedicated HYDROGRID Insight Plant Success Manager is assigned to your live plant to ensure  you gain experience with HYDROGRID Insight and smoothly manage your power plant’s performance.
Your Plant Success Manager schedules regular check-ins to address operational and optimization questions. During product onboarding (first 3 months), we offer monthly touch points, followed by quarterly check-ins thereafter.
