Michal Mravec
Michal Mravec is an investment director at Inven Capital, a Czech Republic based venture capital fund focusing on investments in climate tech startups in Europe and Israel. Michal has joined Inven in 2016 and since then has been responsible for multiple investments: Sunfire, Cloud&Heat, Driivz, Taranis, WINT, and Hydrogrid, assisting also in other numerous opportunities and investments. Moreover, Michal is in particular responsible for Inven’s investment strategy in Israel.
His previous professional experience includes managing operations of a technological startup; working in the strategy department of the largest Central European utility ČEZ, with focus on market analysis, forecasting, plant optimization and trading support; and research activities at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences with emphasis on energy market liberalization. Michal holds a PhD in economics from CERGE-EI and a masters degree in computer science from the Charles University in Prague.
